Aerialists Sarah Sporich and Armando Munoz perform with the Billings Symphony Orchestra during "Cirque de la Symphonie" on Saturday night.

"Two short pieces opened the evening, both from Aram Khachaturian’s ballet “Guyane.” Then it was time for the evening’s featured piece, Stravinsky’s “Firebird Suite,” featuring all four of the cirque performers acting out the story based on the Russian legend of the firebird who saves a prince from an evil sorcerer by casting her own spell.

The work was beautifully interpreted by the four guest performers, the men, Marcello Antonio Balestracci and Armondo Munoz, showing amazing strength and balance, and the women, Autumn Crockett and Sarah Sporich, displaying flexibility and beautifully flowing movement."
